Meet the experts behind

Dr Devi Gurung (NMC No. 2845) is one of the respected obstetricians and gynecologists in Nepal. She is well-known due to her commitment to women’s health and having way more experience (35 years of experience in this field). Once she obtained the MBBS degree, Dr Gurung immediately pursued her MD degree in general medicine and Gynecology and Obstetrics. These dual qualifications make her one of the best doctors for both general adult health and reproductive health. 

Throughout her life, she has worked in many healthcare institutions, such as Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Capital Hospital in Putalisadak and NIMS Group Clinic in Thapathali. All these hospitals and clinics mainly focus on women and general health. By gaining experience from these healthcare institutions, she is qualified to manage high-risk pregnancies. Furthermore, these hospitals and clinics also help her to serve a wide range of patients. 

Currently, she is a senior medical professional and consultant at Venus Hospital. At this hospital, she works as a gynecologist and obstetrician who handles most of the complex cases such as fertility, high-risk pregnancies and minimally invasive gynecological procedures. Due to these reasons, she plays an important role in her gynecology and obstetrics department. Her areas of clinical focus encompass the management of infertility, reproductive endocrinology, and maternal health.
